At the "Gino Allegri" airport in Padua from 28 to 30 September 2012 there will be the Salone del Volo – Festival dell'Aria, an exhibition dedicated to the world of light aviation.
A new location easily accessible by car, thanks to its proximity to highway (motorway exit Padova Ovest 7 km). The airport is also very close to the historic city center, quickly reached on foot or by public transport (the bus stop is outside the airport). The Allegri has an asphalt runway 1,162 meters.
The Salone del Volo arrives in Padua, after the first four editions held in Venice, thanks to an agreement between the company of venetians events Expo Venice, which owns the brand of the event, the Allegri Airport and Padovafiere.
For three days on the square of the Allegri Airport will be on display the news about aircrafts sporting and recreational, as well as accessories, technology, components, clothing. Space will also be given to the sports associations (parachuting, paragliding) and flight schools, primarily the flight school Padua FTO, the Aeroclub of Padua, the group Volo Velistico Patavino and the National Association of Airborne Italy (ANP of I.) Sz. of Padua.
The Show is also a scene of debates on issues related to aviation, thanks to a rational program of conferences and round tables with the participation of leading experts in the sector at national level. The 2012 edition focuses, with stands and ad hoc conferences, the formation of new types of professional techniques from the world of flight.
Another element of spectacle is given by the aircrafts of the visitors that will land at the airport Allegri in the three-day fair. The event represents a recognized and appreciated brand among the more than ten thousand pilots and aircraft owners in Italy and has earned a large number of loyal abroad, including Germany, Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.
Visitors can also take helicopter flights for admire Padova, at a convenient price.
In the days of Salone del Volo will also be active the professional simulator of helicopters Elite Evolution, unique in Italy.
